Located on the Monroe Island, right on the boating canals that lead to the Ashtamudi lake. I really enjoyed the stay, the bost ride, the friendliness of the staff and the amazing lady who prepared the most delicious Kerala cuisine. It was like staying with a family. They took the extra mile to make it a memorable stay, leaving me a bit sad on leaving. Heartily recommend!

Such a beautiful spot, exceptional furniture, layout and design. The stay was very nice. A very scenic and special place. They offered us a complementary boat ride through the backwaters, high tea and cookies. The spa is also really nice, with awesome views.

This is really great and beautiful place to stay, I am relay in love! First of all I want to thank you all working stuff ,they are always be so kind,care and professional !They are always smile and ready to help you 24/7 !It is unbelievable people ! Te second thing it is a great and calm area around hotel ,it is a miracle place to do yoga,read books and just rest away from the busy cities !The garden is clean and flowers everywhere!Wow! The third thing it is spa procedures, you can have all kind of massage,also there are so professional and kind people work here. I am enjoy to do spa spring my rest . And the last bit not leats it is the quality of food and enormous option for dish ,also with no spicy European menu )) The room was also clean and comfortable to stay!

Great host and location. We felt at home with Govind and the property was very clean. Our host also went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, he managed booking for all possible activities and also prepped us delicious local meals. The location is remote and connectivity by car can be difficult especially in the rains, however, this gives you an opportunity to connect with nature and immerse yourself in the surroundings. Also, the backwaters boating starts right opposite the main gate :)

Tasty and simple breakfast. Appam, putu, idli, dosa, kadala curry, sambar, chutney, poori - it varies everyday. There is manthara beach in 10 minutes walk, the beach is clean and not crowded. You can walk to the cliff from here, it takes about 40 minutes by walk and it is a good morning walk. There are no restaurants nearby, you would have to go varkala cliff or town which are about 4 kms. Swiggy delivers here which is a bonus. Host can prepare food if you let them know three hours ahead. They have bikes for rent, and can be booked from their WhatsApp. Hospitality is good, host shares tips on our plans. Location is peaceful and calm.
