The gorgeous Carlo welcomed us on our arrival. The apartment was immaculate. There was food available for breakfast. Carlo was quick in his communication. Although the apartment is outside the historic area it is a 5 minute bus ride into Arezzo. We liked the idea of being out of the tourist bustle. Carlo recommended a restaurant however it was full. But just up the road was a friendly pizza place Forneria Romana that did great takeaway. Definitely recommended

A great experience. Simon, the owner has been very kind and helpful. We stayed 3 wonderful days visiting the villages around as Monte San Savino, Arezzo, Anghiari, and all the valley which has gorgeous views.

Large, nicely decorated apartment with kitchen. Comfortable bed and generous sized bathroom suitable for elderly or disabled travellers. Family owned with a long history in the area. Friendly and helpful. Restaurant was great for dinner. Beautiful grounds, gardens and pool.

Everything was amazing. The owner very very friendly, the staff so helpful. Beautiful landscape around the area. The restaurant had amazing and tasty dishes. Don't miss it. If you plan to stay near Cortona, this is the place.

Carla runs the show, very helpful, super friendly and a really lovely lady. She makes you feel as though you are in your own home. Would stay here again without doubt.

Set in Bucine, 48 km from Florence, Il Verreno features an outdoor pool and sauna. Siena is 25 km away. The accommodation is air conditioned and has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
