Very friendly and helpful hosts. We received a lot of helpful Information on nearby activities, useful apps and how to make the best of our travel. We rented a scooter directly at the door steps for three days. This independent roaming was so much fun, we decided to stay longer at the Mabuhay Guesthouse. Ecologically the separation of waste material needs positive mentioning and the refilling of water bottles.

Wow! I have never stayed anywhere so beautiful in my life. We were truly blown away by our stay, which was made so special by all of the staff. I booked this as a birthday surprise for my partner. From the beginning, the communication was excellent in organising this surprise with Sebea. On arrival, we were greeted with cold towels and juice. Taken to our room, my partner was surprised with the bed decorations, cake, champagne, and even our favourite song playing in the background. It was amazing, as soon as the staff left the room we decided we needed to book an extra night!! Bunrong was an amazing host and made sure everything was going well and we got to do enjoy all Kampot & Amber had to offer. We also had great chats and communication with Chantra - thank you! That evening, I had booked us the Destination Dining - Khmer Menu. If you are looking for something to celebrate a special occasion, this is it! Such a beautiful romantic set up candle lit on the waterfront, the service by Monita was incredible, and the food all so delicious. The next morning, we decided we wanted to go for a bike ride. We were guided by Lundy through the island, exploring rice and salt fields, and a local arts centre. Without him we most certainly would have got lost! It was the perfect activity. Staff also helped us with water taxis to the main town, delicious cocktails, and throughout the stay we were constantly spoiled with treats, room clean ups, fresh towels and the most helpful staff. Our pool and the main pool were both so amazing we spent hours in here. Breakfast was delicious and we even had it floating in our pool on the second day. We could honestly go on and on. Thank you so much for having us!!! 10/10, 5 stars

This place is paradise by the beach. You can take a long walk around the property or ride a bicycle. The restaurant food was excellent and the staff were friendly and courteous. I will definitely be coming back to stay again.

We had the most amazing stay at Rivertree! We were fortunate to be given an upgrade to a riverfront villa which was so lovely and private. We loved it so much that we booked an additional night. We recommend the sunset cruise as a nice way to explore the river and the cooking class, which were both highlights of our stay. We were able to use the kayaks to explore the green cathedral every day and we stopped in at some lovely places on the river (you can get a tuk tuk if you prefer). The staff and service was great and everybody was so friendly. Sereysaophorn took us on our sunset cruise and told us all about Kampot. He always made sure to say hello during our stay. We have been travelling across Asia for almost 3 months and this has been our favourite stay. Thank you!

Breakfast excellent maybe can be further improved by adding some vegan options like cereals or black beans, but anyway in general , the breakfast was OK Room very quiet and river view outstanding

My favourite place to stay while in Kampot, the river views are amazing

A brand-new hotel that is five star in every respect. Great location, staff, facilities, and price (we got an upgrade to a suite). The staff, especially Mong, is very helpful and incredibly polite, immediately delivering some missing items. We liked the large pool and kayaking on the magical river. Kampot, in general, is a great destination, and this hotel is just far enough from the center to be totally tranquil but convenient.

The stay at this property was exceptional. The swimming pool is stunning, basked in sunlight, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. Our bungalow offered a beautiful lake view and was impeccably clean, making it a comfortable retreat. Breakfast was delightful, with a good variety that satisfied our tastes. Overall, this destination combines quality accommodations with excellent service at a reasonable price. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!
