We spent four nights at Buena Vida and would definitely choose this hotel again! Nice room with a big terrace perfect for relaxing, just a 3 minute walk from the beach, diveshops and the market. Also the massage was great! The breakfast is served at their sister hotel Ocean Vida, which also offers packed breakfast and lunch sandwiches if you're going on an early dive or for day trips. Free water is available at the reception. Highly recommended!

The staff and the whole resort. We had a great holiday here (5nights as part of our 3 week trip) and did 4 days of diving. I wish I could call this island my home because wauw! The resort was a bit slow, as we were there just when high season started. This was very nice for the personal attention. The restaurant is very good with great staff and food. Also the welcome we got was so sweet! Thank you, exotic.

The breakfast was ok but I really think they need to cater more for Asian, but the food was good, the room was excellent the only problem it was 34 steps to our room at night not very well lit up, the staff were very good.

Not on the touristic side of the island, so it was quiet. Nearly private beach with very few people. A very good restaurant just beside and a small village to buy some goods.

Blast from the past, original 70’s style resort. Because they did not change a thing, it is now retro style, frozen in time. Everything works, staff is the best ever, the madam boss the most beautiful friendly lady. Breakfast with the perfect beach view to remember. If you travel to complain about small things, do not bother, if you travel to enjoy yourself you will love it.

The location was great--right on the beach and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful and very helpful and even made us special cocktails that we asked for. We dived with the diveshop and they were also great-- the equipment was reliable and the DM was friendly and professional.
