The service from the staff was exceptional; they went the extra mile and were always friendly and efficient. I enjoyed the hotel, which truly is a hideaway from the busyness of Krabi Town and Koh Nang. The fresh seafood was delicious, and I loved having the Vongole, knowing the clams were collected from in front of the hotel. The accommodation was very comfortable, the pool superb, and there were so many places to sit and contemplate, drink cocktails or look over to the Krabi cliffs and islands, including Chicken Island, which we had visited the previous week on a four-island tour. The garden is colourful and lush, with orchids growing on the trees. Anyone wanting to get away from it all but still be within 20 minutes of Krabi Town should consider this resort. It would also be a wonderful place for a honeymoon, and I hope to visit again.

The location and the landscaping work done by Son and his family to make this place a resort in a natural setting is amazing. From a stream a pond has been created, so that the guests can sit at the lounge and watch the fish, or a water monitor silently gliding in the water, egrets and pond herons flying through the trees, or a sunbird enjoying the nectar of a banana flower. A member of the family keeps a collection of caged bulbuls. They are twittering and chattering all the time, making the guest feel he is in the jungle. A rural touch is the handsome bull kept in the yard by the pond. The creek provides for a habitat to a great variety of colorful butterflies. All the area in and around the resort offer opportunities for birdwatchers. The slope where the bungalows are is next to a rubber plantation and faces a limestone cliff covered with forest. The bungalow are well separated one from the other and the garden is made of a varieties of trees, almost like a botanical garden. At the top of the slope there is a small pool where one can refresh in the green, watching the forest covered hills. The night is full of sounds of the forest. What makes this place unique is its secluded position, the careful landscaping and the hospitality of Sun, Chop and their family. Special people. The food is good and the atmosphere is cheerful and relaxed. I spent here two most enjoyable days, just walking around the resort and chilling at the lounge. This is a place where the concepts of hours and days evaporate and fade away.

The Fong hotel was a great stay as it was easily accessible to Krabi Town approx. 10minutes by taxi or to Ao Nang approx. 22min by taxi. The room was really nice and the bathroom was simple but functional. The pool was beautiful and although the hotel is located directly at a main highway it was not too noisy. The small restaurant was also great. But the best of it all was the staff team and owner of the Fong. Tony and his team are just simply hospitality in person and made us feel so welcome at the hotel - it felt almost like a home stay.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much to ask for, the restaurant food was lovely and fresh and were even happy to make something that was not on the menu, we were made a lovely homemade apple crumble which was delicious. We will definitely be back ☺️

Location, Greenry, sea side. It’s worth it. Will definitely come back in the future. The staff is really sweet and polite. We were at the resort all day and didn’t step out of resort for 3 days and didn’t get bore.

An interesting resort on a an island where is nothing more than the resort. The staff is super hospitable and make you feel at home. The breakfast is pretty good in contrary to the a la carte menu. This place is also very recommendable with small children

Clean and spacious. Had everything you needed and was restocked each day of new towels, water bottles, etc. Amazing resort and amazing staff, more than willing to help you with any transfer or trips

The location was brilliant, very relaxing and the sunsets were out of this world! The resort was excellent, the swimming pool was big and clean, the room was fabulous with plenty of space and facilities (there was even a gift from the hotel in the room), very clean and the restaurant waiters and barmen were extremely attentive. The food was delicious. I will gladly go back again.
