The hostel owner and family are very welcoming and create a home away from home. There is a little Warung on the property where you can get food all day and night. Everything is clean and tidy. It is close to the village which creates an authentic experience in the Phillipines and it’s a short walk to the beach. Joker the owner helped organise transport and tours, helped us with any questions we had.

The Tauig Beach Resort is beautiful! Is one piece of Paradise , island of peace. Is totaly on the coast, with private beach, with beautiful garden, lot of nice flowers. The staff is nice, helpfully, smiling, taking care of you! The kitchen is fantastic, good food, delicious, tasty, with many choices. The owner lady lives there, take care about everything for quest comfort to feel good. I can recomend for everybody! All staff Helping with everything, if you want enjoying the Island. Hes a gardener Paul who organising all your activites what you want to finish. The beach bar is beautiful with sea view, many bevarage choices , my favorite the fresh mango juice! We stayed in an excellent room, spacious and with a very comfy bed and a nice balcony overlooking the sunset. The pool area is really good and quiet. Staff is great and owner Lottie is very careful about the guests. We had an excellent breakfast and the dinner was really good too. I strongly recommend this place!

Within our 3,5 weeks traveling to the Philippines 🇵🇭 on 7 different islands Cuestas Beach Resort has by far been the best hotel. Amazing natural construction, directly at the beach, very big and clean pool, coffee and kettle at the rooms, each room with a wonderful terrace with an amazing garden and sea view, the owners (Mongs and Nigi) are absolutely lovely and helpful. The food was outrageous (thanks Tony!!!), all the staff was always smiling, laughing and extremely helpful. They saw me one day laying in the garden under a palm tree on my towel and brought me a sun bed mattress 🫶🏽. From the hotel all the excursions are very close (highly recommended the Canyoneering), in the hotel you can rent motor bikes. We just really loved to stay there.

We had an incredible experience at this hotel! It was exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, with a serene atmosphere. Our room had a stunning sea view, and the location couldn’t have been better—it was so close to the whale shark watching area that we could see locals feeding them and tourists enjoying the view right from our breakfast spot. The service was impeccable. We ordered breakfast from a nearby restaurant, and the staff arranged for it to be served on the hotel’s beach, under charming shelters with tables. Having stayed in about 10 different hotels in the country, this one stands out far above the rest in every way: cleanliness, location, and service. It exceeded local standards by a wide margin. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay!
