Although the room was fairly basic it was a fantastic location and the check in staff were really good and very helpful. I liked that it was a traditional feeling hotel rather than a generic hotel.
- nice location, close to Chueca, Justicia and Gran Via - A/C works well - rooms on the courtyard are quiet - reception call taxis for you, upon request I am a regular customer for the last 15 years, always coming back quite often, but now I will really think twice and look for better options
From the moment that we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome, with impeccable, warm service by all the staff we interacted with. The hotel oozes class. It's in a great location for the historical sights of west Madrid and not too far from the Prado, etc. Room was exceptionally comfortable and spacious. The hotel has a nice paved back courtyard to sit and relax in. Meals were first-class.
The property combines historical elegance of its previous palace history with modern funky styling. It is centrally located to most attractions 10-20 min walk and a great breakfast room and outdoor courtyard to enjoy a quiet drink or bustling bars and restaurants along the street front just outside the front door.
Perfect central location. Short walk to 2 metro stations. Very clean. Great size single occupancy room with a small double bed, bath, air conditioning and view of the inner courtyard with a fountain. Dressing gown and slippers. Very courteous staff.
Abel who greeted us was delightful and very helpful. The hotel that was recommended to us was full and so we accidentially stumbled upon charming Hotel Labaranza. Located in a well maintained, historic Spanish building dating back to the early 1700s, It has a beautiful courtyard, balcony with a fountain and orange tree. The rooms were clean, beds very comfortable with lovely crisp white linens. The bathrooms could use a little updating but they were clean, with ample water pressure.
