The Chems Bleu is a calm and sunny house that offers comfortable accommodation and amazing views of the beach and the port. Our room was very well appointed, clean and airy. The whole Riad was beautiful and its location was perfect, close to everything. The rooftop breakfast room had a fabulous view across the ocean.

Riad Babette is located within the walls of the old city of Essaouira. The owner and his family have beautifully decorated the riad with tasteful touches and beautiful photography throughout. Even though we arrived late in the evening, the owner was willing to prepare a delicious dinner for us. We were warmly welcomed. Our room was beautiful and well appointed. The air conditioning was welcome as it was a bit humid. Wifi worked well in all spaces. Breakfast was delicious. The owner, Mohammed, was very attentive and catered to our every need. For example, we were interested in purchasing some of the traditional inlaid wood trays that Essaouira is famous for. He took us to a shop with pieces of very high quality where we were able to purchase exactly what we wanted in a low pressure environment.

Owner lovely with little extras around the place like coffee facilities etc. drink and biscuit on arrival. receptionist - Leila ( i think is her name) helped me so much. My husband was sick, she helped me book an earlier bus ( in french) she rang the man to pick up the bags. We could leave our bags at reception and rest in the lobby. Other staff cooked lovely breakfast and you could see the house maids thoroughly cleaning the rooms.
