United KingdomLocated in a wetlands reserve and with well-marked walks round the grounds. Birding books and Nikon (!) binoculars provided in our detached chalet which had full disabled access and a view over a small pond via the huge sliding windows, all of which were fly-screened. Spotlessly clean throughout. Very well appointed full kitchen with quality utensils and fittings which were a pleasure to use. The oven was so clean I didn't want to sully it! Fast broadband. Each chalet has its own parking bay right alongside it.
Greeted on arrival by friendly staff, and the owner is an even-friendlier character. Highly recommended.
Worth a mention is Lease 65, four minutes away and selling the biggest, freshest oysters I have ever eaten, all at portside prices (12 for AU$ 24). Amazing.

I absolutely adored hearing all the gorgeous frogs and special water birds right outside my door. It is so lovely to stay at accommodation that embraces and appreciates wildlife .
