The lodge was in a lovely location a short drive , bike or walk from the crowded main Banff area. Restaurant was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The location is away from the busy town centre but it is still in walking distance if you’re a little fit. Bus service every 1/2 hour. Reasonable cooking facilities.

The room, the views, the hot tub, the hikes at the top, so many multi-cultural staff, knowledgeable guides, very friendly service- and chair-staff, food and beverage options were massive, and delicious, bear spray sign-out from the front desk when hiking (you only need to pay if you use it 😜), in-room fire place, the wildlife you can literally see going past your balcony (deer, ground squirrels, marmots, eagles, etc).
