This is a lovely place with a wonderful staff. The main highlight was the staff who provided top notch service and were very welcoming. Everyday we got great suggestion about things to do in the city and the breakfast was delicious and generous. Seeing the pictures we feared that the place might have an “old”-smell to it. However, the building and our room felt very fresh and well maintained, no concerns there. The location is close to downtown Montreal. We arrived on Friday and were advised by the staff to wait till 16.00 and get the weekend metro pass which was a great idea. The public transport in Montreal is quite good and we were able to visit many cool attractions in the city.

Le Mount Stephen is located in Montreal's Golden Square Mile, 450 metres from the Museum of Fine Arts, 550 metres from Bell Center and 900 metres from McGill University.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by an impeccable level of cleanliness that could rival any five-star establishment. The hotel exudes a remarkable sense of home comfort, providing a warm sanctuary against the biting Montreal winter. The breakfast served is not only heartwarming but also tantalizingly delicious, making each morning a culinary delight. However, the true essence of this establishment is embodied by Philippe, Nicolas, Darren, and Sylvain. Their combined efforts, brimming with sincerity, tactfulness, and intelligence, weave a fabric of genuine homey comfort that envelops you, particularly on those frosty Montreal days. Their ability to make guests feel at home is an art that they have mastered exquisitely. In retrospect, my only twinge of regret is not capturing a moment with this remarkable team in a photograph. Fantastic boutique hotel in a lovely location. We enjoyed meals in both of the restaurants - high quality food and great service so we didn’t feel the need to go further afield in the evenings.

Hotel Kutuma is less than 10 minutes' drive from Old Montreal and is 1 km from the Plateau-Mont-Royal neighbourhood.

The location was great, just below the Mont Royal, about fifteen minutes to downtown. The personnel was very kind, the valet parking is available for 20 CAD, or you can park on the street and pay by hour. We booked last minute, only one room with jacuzzi available and got it for discounted price, we got the penthouse which was a great treat. It is a pitty we just stayed one night. Highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent stay! Prime location in the city center, just a few meters from the congress center. Breakfast is satisfactory, and the rooms are quite clean. The staff is very kind and supportive. Excellent balance between quality and price.
