The walk from the cable car station along the panorama trail with amazing mountain views takes approximately 25-30 minutes. There are many walking and skiing trails available around. You can have dinner a la carte at the hotel (there are not many other options in the village). Peaceful and quiet. We had a double room in the attic with a tiny window and two comfortable beds joined. The bathroom was small, but clean. Your luggage can be delivered from the cable car to the hotel, if you book in advance.

Friendless of staff, right next door to a supermarket. Very clean, welcome beer, and the sauna all very nice.

Exceptional value for money in Switzerland Excellent communication re self check in. I was lucky enough to be given such a lovely room with a balcony and view of the castle. We enjoyed our stay at the Swiss Lodge Joopi, we found the staff very friendly and welcoming, we never had an evening meal in their restaurant as we had eaten before we arrived however looking at the amount of people in the restaurant and the lovely smells coming from the dining room one could imagine the food being good. The young waiter was very helpful during our stay and we would like to pass on our thanks. There was Free parking facilities at the hotel which was 1st come 1st served bases and cannot be pre booked. The hotel is off the main road tucked away down a little stream close to the al train line which we never heard.
