The room was large and comfortable and very clean ,The owner and her husband were very helpful telling us about the arear with places to visit, would consider a return to explore more. The location was remote and in the country which made it nice and quiet great for sleeping ,and very relaxing . with a good selection for breakfast that was included with good parking for the car.

It is located in the heart of Badhomburg City. we could easily access shopping arcade and several restaurants. when we feel tired of sightseeing, we could return shortly to hotel. Hotel was very quite so we did not hear any noise during sleep.

This was our second stay and we were not disappointed. Driving south this hotel is perfect not far from the A5 with private free parking and a short walk to Butzbach old town. After a good nights sleep and a delicious breakfast which I recommend for a good start for the day. We were ready for the road.

Hotel Spöttel is an historic and charming building from the Art Nouveau period, with many delightful details and antiques. It has the ambience of the turn-of-the-century spa culture, which I enjoyed very much. The room was larger than expected, traditionally and tastefully furnished, and with a modern bathroom - a well-appointed and comfortable room that I was happy to return at the end of each day. The breakfast rooms are elegant and the service very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing - an abundance of delicious choices! And there was music to complete the delightful breakfast experience - uplifting classical walzes on some mornings, nostalgic Elvis Presley ballads on others. Just a 10-minute walk from the train station, the hotel’s location is superb. Around the corner from the quiet, tree-lined street, it’s just a short walk to Bad Nauheim’s city center, the bath houses and the Kurpark. The staff at Hotel Spöttel are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. They also have fascinating stories to share about the history and life in Bad Nauheim when asked. Since I was arriving later than expected, the reception kindly called me with information on how to get my key. I deeply appreciate this concern for my well-being. My first visit to Bad Nauheim was wonderful thanks to my stay at Hotel Spöttel. I very much look forward to my next visit to both! P.S. Recommendations - visit the Gesundheitsgarten for an interesting Par Course, a Saline experience and Kneip foot and arm baths; Schwyzer Hüssli cafe at the city center end of the Kurpark for a delicious meal and an abundant selection of cakes.

The room(s); 316 is a suite; were spacious and comfortable and 2 air conditioning units were provided which were really appreciated with temperatures in high 20's during our stay. All the staff were friendly, polite and really helpful. The breakfast range of choice and quality were excellent with the staff happy to provide special items requested. really good location with the extensive Kurpark just across the road and the excellent shopping variety of Bad Homburg in easy walking distance.
