Although I wasn’t travelling with my dogs I was delighted to find out this is a dog friendly hotel, it even had a dog friendly restaurant inside the hotel. The staff there very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent. There is nothing I could fault.

Our second stay here at this fabulous Castillo and it won’t be our last (hopefully!). A truly magnificent and atmospheric castle, loaded with history, but also modern day comforts like great heating, hot water and wifi. We splashed out on the Presidential Suite this time and it was definitely worth it. Great views out of the windows, very good shower and a comfortable bed. We were driving from Bilbao to Tarifa and it made the perfect half way stop over. No suppers provided but a grand old kitchen you are welcome to use to cook up your own food. Plus help yourself to breakfast in the morning. Easy, safe parking for our large van. We loved it - 10/10 Thank you

Everything was exceptional! If I'd known how great they were I'd have stayed in Caceres for longer and used them as a base to visit the near by towns.

The Hotel Don Carlos in the centre of Cáceres occupies a building from 1803. It offers comfortable rooms with antique-style furniture and free WiFi. Cáceres Cathedral is just 400 metres away.

Amazing hotel placed in a beautiful historical palace. Perfect location in the very centre of the old town, within walking distance from the main attractions and buildings. Amazing room, extremely spacious and elegant, and quiet. We chose to have breakfast outside as the "Plaza" nearby was full of cafeterias. Extremely nice staff and, finally, extremely convenient price for what was offered. Highly recommended!!

The Arch of the Star and the old city is just in front of the hotel door! Camilo's warm hello spark our happy feeling. Got the room keys in a minutes while having nice convo. Clean, good size room, firm mattress, very long comfy pillow. Good insulation so we barely heard loud music at Plaza Mayor in front of the hotel. It's good that we have coffee machine in the room because at 8.30-ish the cafe is still close. We will surely be back.
