This wonderful casa rural feeds your soul. Its not about the rooms (beautiful, spotlessly clean) or even of the location (right in the heart of the village), or the absolutely delicious breakfast. It is about the history that comes alive in this superbly maintained old building. But more than anything it is about the warmth of the host Inmaculada, who welcomes you to her home and makes sure you have everything you need. I wish I could have stayed longer.

I was looking for a location where we could leave the rented car and just walk. I found it here and much more besides. This is such a unique, tranquil place, set in the hills and overlooking the town of Lanjaron. There were trails everywhere so this was perfect for us. The views are amazing and the facilities include 2 swimming pools, 1 with natural water. Given the recent temperatures we used the natural pool a lot. The town is accessible on foot and only a 5-10 minute walk down hill and maybe 15 on the way back up a very steep hill. There are enough restaurants and a decent grocery store where we got all we needed. Lina, the host, was very friendly and helpful with hiking suggestions. She also provided us with tomatoes, avocado and fruit all grown on the property. I would love to return again and have no hesitation recommending to others.
