This was our second stay at this hotel, we returned with family as loved the first visit so much! The staff are absolutely wonderful and so very friendly and helpful. The rooms we had with the balconies were superb for sitting out on in the lovely sun with a glass of wine! I just can’t praise the food enough here at the restaurant…..it’s the best restaurant in a hotel I have ever come across. Definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return to the Loire Valley soon.

Excellent in every way. Great fresh breakfast. The proprietor " Oliver " is a great host. Top of the line stay. A incredible bargain to stay at his place. I cannot imagine going to another place after staying there.

A 10-minute walk from Amboise Castle, this bed and breakfast is set in an original, 15th-century quarry and is carved out of the rock.

The Pavillon des Lys is a private mansion built in 1703, transformed into a charming 4-star hotel in 2004. Some of our rooms are independent, located on the ground floor of the establishment.

The breakfast was amazing! The staff were incredibly helpful. We desperately needed to get laundry done, and decided to pay a ridiculous amount ( to this Canadian) and have it sent out. the moment there was a knock on our door and the concierge was standing there with the most beautifully laundered clothing, was seriously one of the best moments of my life :) How do French laundry's enhance this service so much?!

Housed in an old castle near the town of Amboise, this hotel has a very good restaurant, a pleasant garden and pleasant rooms with original decoration and four-poster beds.

one of the best hotels I’ve visited. you live in a real chateau, very charmant, clean, comfortable beds, very nice stuff. there is a heated pool outside. the building itself is really a bijou!
