The Le Castillan Hotel was an amazing experience from start to finish. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, cozy ambiance and the flat that provided everything I needed. I am extremely grateful to have stayed at Le Castillan and would definitely return in the future.

This hotel is located in L’Alpe-d’Huez, opposite the ski slopes and 100 metres from the ski lifts, in the heart of the French Alps. It offers chalet-style rooms, some of which have a balcony.

For a 2 star hotel it was really excellent and good value for money. The evening meals were delicious, the rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with a fabulous view. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The added bonus is the hotel is right opposite the ski slope. We were also able to park our car right outside at no extra cost. We are planning to return next year.
