Tons of character & very relaxed, you felt like you were staying with a rich cousin, and could go anywhere in the house - very good breakfast included - public rooms were beautifully preserved. Solid walls, rooms were quiet, huge room (got one in the original house) lovely, helpful, friendly staff

Staff were exceptional. Felt very welcomed. Very impressed with the staff bringing box of sausages to Reception to check ingredients were suitable for me. The food was fabulous. Very much enjoyed the curry and the breakfasts. Service was superb. Lovely to relax in the lounge before leaving and spend time with friend and children without that being an issue. Very welcoming and would stay again and recommend.

Centrally situated with large car park. Nice garden to relax, full of lovely flowers and trees. Very clean hotel. Friendly staff always ready to help. Good food and drink. Very busy hotel which reflects its service.
