Better than a lot of hotels I've stayed in. Shower was brilliant after a cold day out hiking, warm and powerful.

This small country inn is situated in the centre of Moffat, a former spa town where national bard Robert Burns was one of the many visitors who came here to take the waters.

Great stay there. Staff fantastic and room amenities fantastic. Breakfast was also included which was also great.

Robert Burns, Scotland’s national poet, once inscribed a window at this 16th-century hotel in Moffat’s centre.

Comfortable room. We had just flown from Australia and so appreciated the lovely room, quiet and comfortable. Impeccably clean with a lovely bathroom.

We were warmly welcomed, helped with our bags and the ease of booking in was most welcome. Couldn't fault the overall service and comfort of the rooms.

This family-run hotel is set in 5 acres of parkland, near the M74 and Gretna Green. It offers spectacular views, real log fires, free Wi-Fi and a restaurant with an excellent local reputation.
