Hosts were extremely accommodating in every way and facilities were excellent.Liitle touches here and there showed how much they wanted you to enjoy your stay thus I would recommend staying here to anyone

What a little hidden gem!! I love the detail and thought of everything that went into the room and the needs of a solo traveler. First of all I turned up early at 10am, plenty of parking at the back of the hotel. Then my room was all ready so a bonus of an early check in, so I could dump all my stuff and go. Like I said I was a solo traveler so I had a single room on the bottom floor right next to the dining hall. For me the room was perfect, clean and comfortable with the extra added bonuses of a extra towel for my hair along with a full length mirror (‘little things in life), coffee and tea facilities, a cubby cupboard to store luggage, a mini fridge with a small bottle of water and a TV. The breakfast was outstanding, I basically had everything!! Porridge with Greek yogurt and fruit along with a great quality Full English. (photos to follow) Danny & Dolores were great hosts, answering all my questions and showing a general interest in my trip, along with them giving me a map to help me find my way round. Also your just a short few minutes walk down to the beach. If I had to give any niggle, it would be the bathroom could be a squeeze for the larger person, especially around the sink area. But I had no personal issues at all. Plus if you’re not an early riser (I am) you may get woken up via the light coming in via the shutter slats, and maybe by the lush smell of bacon coming through from the dinning room. The latter I really enjoyed as I knew I was in for a treat of a breakfast!! But these are the most little trivial things, and would not ever put me off staying again. I will 100% be back and I’ve recommended the Southbank Town House to all my friends and family, and as a quite hard to please ex travel representative. I’m impressed!!

Breakfast and staff Lovely atmosphere and a good choice of food. The staff made us feel most welcome.

Alex and Stacey are a really nice couple, very friendly and helpful, could not say a bad thing about the place, lovely accommodation, clean and everything was there you needed, breakfast was the highlight of the holiday, loads of choices and cooked to how you want it,very beautiful place and would definitely go back again, thank you both for a really lovely time, hope everything goes well for you in the future. xx

The family room was clean, modern, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The hosts, Vanessa and Cameron, are warm, friendly and very helpful.

Breakfast excellent. Service excellent. Location good. Off road parking very useful.

Hostess Karen is very friendly, making sure we feel at home. The room is clean and spacious, with sufficient light. We love the comfy living room and backyard where we had takeaway dinner outdoors. Good portion of breakfast. Karen also shared her home-made jam with us! Location is closer to Torre station, but easy to reach from Torquay station/seaside. (a nice uphill walk)
