The house itself is a gem, an art gallery and a place that sends you back in time. The Teddy bears can make you smile like a happy child, the design of the bedroom and the the breakfast room create such a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious served with a big smile by hosts. And the hosts...Stuart and Janet, the loveliest welcome I had in the last few years. Friendly and helpful, they can make you feel at home. Beautiful country house and gardens, with a lovely peaceful spa on site, with excellent pool, steam, sauna and outdoor hot tub. It was bliss sitting out there on a cold day in the warmth. Very comfortable rooms. All of the staff were amazing - so warm, friendly and chatty and provided excellent service. Freshly cooked breakfasts were of the highest quality. Best hotel experience of 2024.
