We loved the family who runs it. Adila and Putu are great hosts and made our stay extra special. They had a good knowledge of the surroundings,showed us how to get to the waterfalls and teach us how to cook some amazing local dishes! We highly recommend taking the cooking class with Adila, she was super professional and our dishes were exquisite! We can't wait to cook them back home :). A secluded paradise in the midst of the ricefields with a splendid view to the valley below. The rooms were roomy and the outdoor terasse was nice. The staff was so friendly, smiling and helpful, you truly feel welcome amongst the Lesong family. I would definately recommend this to anyone who is visiting this area.

in no order of particular priority: the abundant lush nature, the most attentive staff I have ever met in my 30plus years of 5 star hotels worldwide, a cuisine which was superbe, Spectacular infinity pools were just a few points that had us like “this is almost too good to be true”. but what truly knocked us off our feet was the warmth and heartfelt attitude of literally everyone working at the premise which made us feel like family and not paying customers. Being a managing director myself of a larger company I can clearly see everything that needs to come together to provide such a service and am truly impressed by everyone - from the manager (unfortunately i cannot recall her name but she was present whenever needed), to the waiters (hello Tuti and Sindi, you were simply amazing), to our tour guide Apri who showed us the beauty of the waterfalls nearby, to the front desk team that managed to find a doctor for us when needed after 9 p.m and also help us resolve to pay the bill while we had no cash… I am sure you get my point: this place is a 12 on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best!

Beautiful and quiet garden, helpful and friendly owner, nice staff. Would go there again. Owner can organise day trips which is great. Free shuttle to Lovjna centre to go out for dinner and drinks, although we had some lunches and dinners at the restaurant in the hotel which was very good and convieneint. Very recommendable, great value for the price.

Staying at the Lovina Hotel was just wonderful. I honestly could not have asked for anything more. The staff were exceptional, everywhere I went in the hotel there was a smile and a happy greeting. They even knew my name and how I liked my watermelon juice! Value for money was amazing and the staff were so accommodating. I had the villa with the pool, although it rained most days the one day I was there all day the pool was invaluable so dip into! The locals are very friendly and often chat with you if you wish, but if you want to be left alone they respect that. It is fascinating to sit and watch the fishmen in the sea and the sunsets are beautiful. Room service is impeccable...some of the top hotels I've stayed in have not done the rooms ro this standard. Beyond clean and tidy and the fresh daily flower are a lovely touch. All in all I have stayed at other hotels in Bali before I decided to try the North. I really cannot wait to go back to the Lovina. It feels like I have left family behind...you will not be disappointed. OK, there is no nesspreso coffee machine! But keeping in mind Bali is trying to be a green country and not encourage use of plastics then that's understandable!

We stayed 3 nights in the Damai, in one of the villas with private pool. The accommodations were truly fantastic and the domain is very well maintained. When entering the lobby, the first thing you see is the open swimming pool with an amazing view, located near the bar and restaurant. After check-in we were guided to our room, an amazing villa with private pool and with full privacy garden. The room is nice, very clean, with an outdoor shower and bath. They staff cleans the room every day, and comes by multiple times a day, to open the window covers in the moring (when you're at breakfast), clean and make up bed, close the covers in the evening and prepare bed for sleep, or bring fresh fruits. Overall the staff of the Damai is so friendly and welcoming, the restaurant serves great food and breakfast. This was truly a remarkable stay and I would definitely recommend staying in the Damai if you're looking for rest and calmed. Thank you, I would really like to come back one day.
