Spectacular views from the hostel over Achill Island. Jake was very kind and laid-back. The whole accomodation was beautiful and the interior seemed very warm and personalized with photographs, colourful dishes, a record player and vinyl records, 2 cats… The beds were very comfortable and we had a nice view out of our window. Sockets were near the beds. The bathroom was big. Breakfast was great and there was a big selection (cereal, porridge, bread, cheese, ham, milk, yogurt…). The view from the breakfast room is amazing.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff , a relaxed atmosphere everywhere in the lodge and great food. I had breakfast and an evening meal there both of which were were ample portions and delicious. François the owner runs a professional and at the same time friendly lodge at Pure Magic . I'd stay there again , and can only recommend it to everyone.

    Great hotel. Lovely room with view ,,close to everything ,but you could just stay in hotel if like as it has all you need Friendly staff ,,and nice welcome from lady at reception Surprised it's review score on booking.com isn't higher
