Grand Hotel Passetto is one of the few hotel left with a soul. It's clear it is loved who runs it and it keeps it to an high standard. The hotel is old but very well kept. The rooms are super clean and the staff amazing. The stay was beyond my expectation for the money we paid. I have stayed in much more quoted hotel, for much more of the money and i got much less. I sincerely thank the staff who clearly is loving his job.

Hotel Emilia is located on a hilltop and features a tennis court, a large garden with pool, and beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea. It is set 11 km from Ancona.

Hotel Internazionale has a panoramic location in a pretty, green area 12 km from Ancona centre. The beach is 300 metres away and a free shuttle is provided. The Internazionale has been refurbished.

The room was big enough and clean (the bathroom as well). There was even an AC unit, which suprised us. Because of the reviews here, we were sceptical about breakfast. The breakfast corner was tiny, so you need to schedule a timeslot at reception in advance. However the food selection was more than enough - there were various drinks (water, juice, tea, milk, coffee), cereals, sweet pastry, croissants, jams, nutella, fruits, youghurts, and also tiny baguettes/criossants with mozzarella or proscuitto. I can imagine that some of these may be missing if you schedule your breakfast for late hours, but between 8 and 9 o'clock, there was really a feast. The hotel is located in the middle between the beach and the historical center of Ancona, which is ideal, since you can walk anywhere in under 10 minutes. (Also, there is amazing restaurant at the ground floor and great cafe/gellateria just across the street.) Within the building, the hotel occupies 3rd floor without an elevator, which was not a problem for us.
