Cant recommend it enough if you want to experience sleeping in a beautiful old Japanese house on a hill! The staff is very sweet, take their time to carefully explain everything. The stay also has a small cafe, where you can even eat your own outside food or just hang around. Room + the view from this stay is amazing! :)

This place is very welcoming, traditional, cozy and comfortable. The location is perfect, almost in front of the sea and next to the train station. Emphasize the host is very helpful, very friendly and a great person, ready to help and recommend you anytime. The staff is so friendly and the thai restaurant delicious. It feels very cozy and authentic and the view from the hotel rooms it breath-taking: it's basically at the top of the mountain, but also built into the mountain, so you can oversee whole of Onomichi and nearby islands. I can really recommend staying here if you plan on coming to Onomichi, just be aware of the few steps you have to take, but it is worth it!
