I loved the hotel; it was a luxury. Located in the mountains of Hakone, overlooking the lake, it has a spa, an onsen, two restaurants, and a shuttle bus that runs every half hour to the city center. It's beautiful. 100% recommended for a longer stay.

Our stay at Fujiya was exceptional. The hotel has a grand, old world charm to it in a Japanese style. There were amazing details to see in the building itself and the grounds. Service was amazing by the staff who all spoke good English. Food was wonderful and served in a very classy full service style with silverware. The gardens and koi pond were beautiful in the autumn. The onsen spa also was great after a long day's sightseeing. It was a truly memorable experience to stay here and a highlight of our trip.
