It was delightful. Such a friendly place. Great staff. Lovely rooms. Fantastic introduction to an Onsen hotel for the uninitiated. Very clear guidelines which was really helpful. Amazing food both at dinner and breakfast. Couldn’t fault it.

It's an amazing hotel sited on top of a hill overlooking on one side Lake Toya and on the, a bay being part of Sea of Japan and one has a 360° view of the entire valley lake and mountains including of Mt Yotei in the distance. Its also a beautiful n lavishly appointed hotel and one of its many claims to fame is being the site of a G8 Summit hotel in 2008. It has many lovely restaurants, a great onsen plus a nice golf course to boot. Locals regard this hotel as Hokkaido's most prestigious hotel, and one can fully understand once you stay there. The staff are so professional and courteous fm the doorman to everyone you come into contact as they all seem so conscious they have a very high reputation to maintain as The Top hotel in the region. Everything was soooo amazing ….. we travel the world non stop and this place was so amazing I would recommend to everyone…. It has everything anyone could ask for. Not only was the hotel awesome but so was the staff , location and anything to do with this location is absolutely amazing and a must see and stay place during your lifetime.

Spacious. And the view from my room is gorgeous, the stunning Lake Toya. Hotel is close to the Toyako Onsen bus terminal. The front desk staff is also super polite.
