Amazing hotel in an amazing location. We travelled as a family with a 6mth old baby and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Bottles and baby cutlery etc washed every day and our baby was treated like royalty! The food is very good and very good value. We went half board which is recommended. The set menu in the evenings is good but may be a tad repetitive if staying more than 4/5 days or if you don't like fish or curry!! A special mention to Thejani in the restaurant, she was simply fantastic, helpful and made us feel so welcome, likewise with Samantha. Chamindi and the team at reception were always so helpful and welcoming.

Great breakfast! Large room with aricon! Quiet and rest well at night. Walking distance to the beach and surfing. Wifi is great at large open space which is very quiet for work. Also money sometimes passing by.

Such a memorable 3 night stay in this beautiful 600 year old boutique hotel. The building and decor were stunning, rooms super comfortable, and staff amazing. The 5 course breakfasts, morning tea/coffee trays and the Prince’s Long Island Iced Teas were such a treat. Other highlights were the King’s Residence bedroom, piano man who takes song requests and the bugle player for the evening rooftop flag ceremony.

We had a wunderful stay at thusara guest house. The manager is very nice and super helpful, the room was clean, everything went fine. The guest house is a nice and quiet place with not too many rooms, and the location is perfect because it's located little aside around the corner from the nice but also crowded beach. To the beach it's only a 1 minute walk, and everything you need like shops and restaurants are very close. To the main street it's a 5 minute walk, so it's really quiet and peaceful. We can definitely recommend that place
