This place is set just atop the city of Kandy. An easy 8 minutes ride to the city centre, but without all the hustle and bustle. Sit on the balcony, and byo your own bottle of wine. The two young lads staffing the home are absolutely awesome. They are respectful of your privacy, but always helpful and kind. Those two lads made it a really really exceptional stay for us. Delicious authentic breakfast, clean rooms, great view, and peaceful.

Green View Holiday Resort has a variety of rooms, each with its own private bathroom. Free WiFi is available in the resort’s common areas. Facilities include an outdoor pool and restaurant.

Very great place to relax, a bit far from the town, but definitely worth it, food was also good. Good value for money.

You will be lost in the forest after 15 minutes drive from Kandy. You will see the mountains, you will hear the birds when you wake up. The hotel provided an extra bad for our daughter - nice. The ambience and welcome were in colonial tradition. We had the 7 course dinner which was good after a relaxing day at the pool. Women in traditional dresses were collecting tea leaves from a small tea plantation in front of our chalet.

It is a great place to stay with a beautiful view and really nice staff with great cooking skills. It is very clean and new which was really nice.

Quiet, spacious room with an amazing view of the jungle just outside of busy and dusty kandy. Andana, his wife are such warm and welcoming people. They prepared amazing food for us and even taught us how to cook it :) Ravi, the Tuc Tuc driver who picked us up and drove us to great spots and temples was a great company! They all gave us good recommendations and helped us getting tickets for the train. We would definitely recommend everybody to stay here for an outstanding experience :)

Location is incredible. Staff is so friendly. Got the honeymoon suite for half the price of the website, therefore great value for money. The tent was a dream and we are so happy that we spent one night there. One thing that could have even further improved our stay: a bootle of bubbles in the minibar fridge - we would have bought it :)

We had a truly relaxing and memorable time at Samindra Villa. We stayed in the Garden View Room, which was peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. The view from the villa is absolutely stunning — lush greenery all around, making it a perfect getaway spot. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious rice and curry meals — authentic, full of flavor, and made with so much love. You can really taste the difference. The Wi-Fi connection was strong throughout our stay, which was great for staying connected when needed. Overall, Samindra Villa felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic experience!
