We loved our stay at LakRaj! We were there with a 1 year old and the corner, sea view room was perfect for us. The staff was exceptional, helping us out whenever we needed and even watched our baby sometimes while we ate breakfast :) The cleaning crew also did a great job. We actually had to extend our stay one day, since we enjoyed it that much. There’s plenty restaurants within walking distance, and you can even walk to a grocery store that’s about 15 min away. There’s also lots of eager tuk tuk drivers that will happily drive you. Highly recommend going for a swim with giant sea turtles that’s just past Dr. House (also a great venue for food and drinks).

Our stay at this property was absolutely amazing! The rooms were beautiful, spotlessly clean, and everything was impeccably maintained. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious, and the highlight of our stay was Simba, the adorable and loving Labrador who lives on the property. He truly added a special touch to our experience. Out of all the places we visited during our trip across Sri Lanka, this was by far our favorite. If we ever return to Sri Lanka, we would gladly stay here again. We wholeheartedly recommend this place—it’s a gem!
