Incredible homestay. Owner was amazing, wish I stayed longer. Even though I had a short stay he helped me arrange a safari and transportation to multiple sites, negotiated me a good price. Felt like family, had a great dinner together with some arrack :) Rooms were great value, super comfortable bed strong water pressure what more do you need

Fabulous place to stay, with outstanding service, best breakfast, helpful advice and a relaxing calm oasis in the trees. Saman kindly organised a Jeep safari, and a highly recommended cooking class session at a local organic farm. Place was spotless and can see why it’s a top rated place to stay.

All around the house is fabulous...natural very close to the rocks.... The Owner is really nice friendly helpful...and we got there the best dinner...Hopefully one day we can return there...

Dinesh and his family were the incredible hosts. From the moment we checked in to time we waved our goodbyes we felt like family; just an incredible place to spend our time in Sigiriya. Breakfast and dinner each day prepared by the family was impeccable and freshly prepared. The A frame was clean and perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young children) We will miss Otunna and will be back!

We stayed for two nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The family welcomed us with incredible warmth and hospitality, making us feel completely at home from the very beginning. The room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Their son, Chamee, kindly took us to visit both Pidurangala and Sigiriya — it was an unforgettable experience, perfectly organized. We also had the chance to join a fantastic cooking class with Kumani - the mother -, where we learned a lot and had so much fun. Everything was simply perfect. This is a one-of-a-kind property where a private steam flows inside the property. The view from the tree house is excellent and the dining experience over the river is a treat to experience. Wonderful location, walking distance from the lion rock. Rooms are exceptionally neat and clean. Thank you Chaminda and his family for being an excellent host.
