we arrived in Tromso in the evening by Arctic Routes bus after a tour in Lofoten and were leaving next day by plane to further destination; we wanted to see as much as possible of Tromso in this short time. so we chose the hotel to be within short walk from both buss stop from Lofoten and to airport. in addition hotel was just near the harbor front with great view from the breakfast/dinner room to the bridge crossing the gulf and to the Arctic Cathedral on the other side. several places worth visiting were within walking distance as well as the commercial streets. place was clean and comfortable and personnel very nice and helpful. last but not least, having dinner included (as well as breakfast) was very convenient when arriving after a long journey and made our stay very cost effective. all in all we loved our stay in Tromso and were sorry it was so short.
