We stayed in Amberla Cottages for one night for a sleep after and before a long car journey. This is actually a really good quiet place! The rooms are nice and cosy, and the little house contains everything needed. Hokitika is a nice place too.

We found the Greenstone Retreat by pure luck, being stranded in bad weather. Kate and the team took us in at very short notice and we couldn't believe our luck when we got there. The villa is a wonderful warm and cosy place with everything you can possibly need and lots of character. We only stayed one night but will definitely stay longer next time we're in the area!

Such an amazing spot with beach access. Lovely hosts and facilities were great. The spa was so lush and a bonus being able to take our doggos. Loved the whole experience!!
