Romantic Hotels in Twizel

Breakfast menu covered the usual items, with additional cereal, fruit, yoghurt, juice. We enjoyed the shared table experience with other guests.

We stayed with kid and used the hotel mostly for sleep and cooking as we were mostly out for drives and adventures. Ride to Lake pukaki was just 10 mins away. Mount cook was 45 mins away but I must say that was the best drive I have ever experienced in my life, if staying here drive these route for sure: - drive to Mount Cook National park - drive to Lake tekapoo - star gazing as outside the motel it was super dark and the whole sky was full of stars - many small hikes near by - ample space for kids and their play ground with many swings - car parking just in front of your room - independent house as your room - all kitchen stuffs The staff(family running the business) were kind and polite and very helpful. The only thing they need to work on is the wifi, it was poor most of the time and getting disconnected every now and then
