The design of the hotel is fantastic! The rooms are beautiful and clean, thanks to housekeeping twice a day! Thanks for the little attention on our pillows ;) Charles and his bold collegue (don’t know his name, sorry) at the reception are doing an amazing job. And last but not least Jorge, responsable for breakfast, runs from left to right to make sure everybody is happy and presentation of the food is up to standard. He was very helpfull to us and our baby! Congrats to the entire The Vine staff.

The location was really exclusive, as one of the few hotels with direct access to the ocean. The employees were nice, accommodating and really professional, it didn't look like they were smiling just for the sake of it. The whole hotel radiated a very sophisticated impression. The food was at a very high level, both in terms of taste and quality.

Solar da Bica is a cosy and tranquil retreat. This comfortable guest house faces the mountains and has green natural surroundings. The Solar features accommodation in rooms and an apartment.

The hospitality is perfect. • When arrived, you will be seated and can enjoy a passion fruit welcome drink. • The room is spacious and clean, with artwork of C Ronaldo.Right outside the room, there is an outdoor gym on grass, overlooking Funchal. As well as the swimming pool, sauna and hot tub. Be sure to arrive early to enjoy those facilities. • If you come back to the hotel late, the hotel restaurant is closed but there is also a seaside restaurant just beside the hotel that open until midnight. You can enjoy beer and meat for around 1x euros. • Breakfast at the hotel is excellent with many choices of hot and cold food. There is a chef for fresh omelette as well. Drinks included many juices and procecco, I made my own cocktail. • Luggage could be stored after check out. • Ask for a ticket if you do not have time to do the CR7 Museum Tour during your time, and do it after check out.

Great location - near the central part of Funchal, many bus stops, a big supermarket, many restaurants and cafés. Very easy self check in process and e-key via an app. Very friendly and helpful personnel.

We loved our stay at Golden Residences Hotel. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff was very helpful and the facilities were also top notch! We enjoyed the breakfast spread and the kids had a great time at the indoor heated pool.
