There was really nothing not to like. I did experience a little difficult checking in as it was late and dark, and signage leaves a little to be desired. I have to take partial blame though, as if I had read my emails properly I would have realised there was an app to download that helped matters. The cottages are unpretentious but very nice, the location is unbeatable if scenery is your preference, and I had the good fortune to visit in the off-season making my stay great value. I fully expect the prices to be dramatically different in the high season though.

This B&B is located in a historical fortress in Varberg. The accommodation is set in what once was a bakery, hospital and prison.

The staff were very accomodating, friendly and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast spread was the best of our 5 week holiday with lots of different options (including GF and vegan). The view from our room was very nice, it was special being inside the fortress, which is one of the highlights of the town.

Top location (in the heart of the city- everything is walking distance). Top breakfast buffet inkl. omelette service and waffle stations. Top room (quiet, clean, cosy). Nice veranda for the hotel bar and a cosy 'wintergarden' as an extension to the restaurant. We did not use the spa but by the sounds of it the extra fee would be well worth it (massages, Sauna, pools, outdoor relaxing areas etc...). Nearby parking possibilities. From air condition, addition aux. fan, ironing board, safe to a refridgerated mini bar everything was available in the room. Top! Definitely recommend the stay there!

Nice location in nature, not far from the highway. Hosts are very nice and take their time to explain things. You stay in a private wooden chalet with a clean separate bathroom shared with other guests. Restaurants are within a 2km range m.

Boasting garden views, Farmors Lada provides accommodation with patio, around 20 km from Varberg Train Station.

very cosy, not like other hotels. In the morning we had a nice breakfast where we had a fun we talked about traveling or today’s situation in the world. In the evening you can see a beautiful sunset and you could swim in the nearby sea already in May. I recommend this accomodation and I will always be happy to return here. thank you Mr. Thomas

We couldn't have been happier to be welcomed by Annika after a long day on the bike. The rooms are cozy and have everything you need to cook. Definitely recommend getting the breakfast! The last stretch of road up to the farm isn't suitable for road bikes, but it's not too far to walk. Thanks Annika for being flexible and letting us in late!
