The time in the B&B was wonderful! Apart from the very modern, spacious and clean room with the nice view, we enjoyed a very diverse and healthy breakfast in the morning. Moreover, the hotel gives offers some discount for bike renting which was also very helpful. I can only recommend this place and I would book it for sure again.

Laurel Villa is situated in Sun Moon Lake, 30 meters from Shuishe Pier, and 400 meters from Sun Moon Lake Bus Station or Shuishe Visitor Center. The location and transportation are convenient.

Room was lovely. Big round window with a view. Very comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Access to washing machine and tumble dryer. Wonderful home-cooked breakfasts. What really made it special were our hosts who were cheerful, welcoming and thoughtful. We had to leave very early on the last morning and they very kindly made up two breakfast boxes for us to take with us. Just one of many examples of their thoughfulness. Can't recommend highly enough :)

They were quick to provide solutions when things arise and they notice fine details and provide solutions before we even ask. Would definitely visit again not only for the view but also the great accommodation and service

Very clean and neat. Even though it was a shared dorm with common toilet, it was very convenient to use the facilities.

The bath was very beautiful and a great size, the room was an okay size for 4 adults, would be better for 2 adults and 2 kids I think, but overall a great place to stay, the staff members were very nice and kind, they allowed us to leave our luggages there before we checked in so we can go for a wonder on the streets, would love stay again if we get a chance.

First of all, staff were really helpful and friendly, I ask for borrowed an iron machines to my room and it was delivered in there when I back to my room after out for a walk. Room presentation was excellent, hot bathtub is just on the point!! Comfortable and good value of money

The location is close to Suishe Visitor Center where the bus drops visitors off. It's about a 20 minute walk with luggage but we asked the hotel shuttle to pick us up and drop us off at the visitors center when we arrived and left. You can also schedule ahead of time if you want the shuttle to drop you off at Suishe at other times. There was a large buffet breakfast that was quite tasty. The room was also very clean and we liked the view. There were many bikes to use for free to bike along the bike path. This is not a criticism (and Sun Moon Lake is primarily a domestic tourist location) but a FYI - if you don't speak Chinese, communication with the hotel staff might be a bit challenging. Some staff had a little bit of English language skills but that was not necessarily consistent. That's ok though :) just be prepared with some sort of translator app which is definitely useful in Taiwan anyway.
