The ground and building were glorious and the staff very approachable and helpful. The Friday night BBQ was the highlight, eating pizzas and drinking wine under the illuminated tree boulevard was wonderful.

We spent the most wonderful two days at The Last Word, Franschhoek. From the moment we were met at the gate, to the moment we left, all staff were absolutely wonderful. Every part of the hotel was immaculate and the colour scheme was very jewel like. Our room was very big with everything you could possibly want. A peaceful paradise in the middle of a very busy village. We will certainly be back.

    Such a lovely home. Beautiful decorated yet comfortable. Both the inside and outdoor garden and pool areas were lovely. Wish we had more time to spend relaxing at the house. Would have been fun to have a barbecue if we had another day or so. Everything was so clean and the bedrooms were huge with comfortable beds. Bottle of wine and marmalade was a wonderful touch provided by the owner. Marilicia was so welcoming and accommodating especially since we were traveling with an infant. Truly enjoyed our stay and will come again.

    Lovely little apartment in Franschhoek. The apartment comes with a lot of sweet little extras (coffee, rusks, biscuits and a bottle of wine) and so much thought has been put into every little detail. The bathroom is large and modern with 2 showers and a big bath. There is also a nice pool area to relax in after a long day of wine tasting. Marlicia was very accommodating and welcoming, and ready to assist with everything we needed.
