Nestled in the heart of the historic Hobart waterfront, MACq 01 is a luxurious hotel that combines premium accommodation with unforgettable storytelling. It is just a 5-minute drive from the city centre and famous Salamanca Square. There is an on-site restaurant at the property and private parking is available. The location and view of the harbor is unbeatable. The room and bathroom were very spacious and thoughtfully designed. The bath tub and bathroom aesthetic made it feel like a spa. The mini bar had a wonderful selection of local products and was reasonably priced.

All units include a seating area with a flat-screen TV, CD player, and DVD player. All units feature a dining area and a balcony deck. There is also a kitchen, equipped with a microwave. A toaster, a fridge and stovetop are also provided, as well as a kettle. Every unit is fitted with a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. Towels and bed linen are available. Way better than the photos, our lodge seemed freshly renovated! Exceptionally friendly lodge manager, and the house dog is so cute! The area is full of wildlife, we totally enjoyed it. The stay at Bronte was one of the highlights of our trip to Tasmania.

Balcony with chairs for guests to use. Great Breakfast included. All guests seated at long table. Lovely homey atmosphere

Our premium chalets offer uninterrupted water views, while our standard chalets are set back from the beach among native gardens, all with direct access to our beautiful Jubilee Beach. Staff were friendly, gave great tips for local food and sightseeing. Beach front location was gorgeous, perfect for watching the sunrise. Cabin was clean, modern, and with working kitchen facilities and good water pressure.

Cradle Mountain Village is located in a secluded setting on the edge of the World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair National Park. It is just a 5-minute walk to the Visitor Centre and 10 minutes’ drive to the start of the Overland Track. Love it! Regret not staying for few more days! You get to see wild wallaby beside your cottage. Room is warm for winter

For your entertainment, the property also has kayaks, golf clubs and bikes for guest use. Fabulous location. Loved the bed. Nice modern bathroom.

Waratah on York is located in a restored Victorian mansion, just 5 minutes’ walk from Launceston city centre. It features free off-street parking and Wi-Fi internet access.

Waratah On York overlooks Launceston City Park and is a 5-minute walk from the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery. Cataract Gorge is only 3 km away, and Launceston Airport is a 20-minute drive. The stay felt like living in a castle — the decor was quite luxurious, the room was very spacious, and it offered great value for money.

Sitting alongside Hobart's waterfront, the historic Henry Jones Art Hotel offers luxurious rooms offering water or courtyard views. The hotel is set in a row of renovated 1820s warehouses and a former IXL jam factory. It offers a bar and boasts a variety of original artworks throughout the property. The staff behind reception were exceptional. Even escorted us to our room on the top floor. Spotless rooms, huge comfy bed and lots of little extras. We had a few things from the mini bar, it was very reasonable. We also love The Long Bar! This is my favourite hotel.

Just 2 minutes' walk from Sullivan's Cove and Salamanca Place, this restored mansion in Hobart offers modern accommodation with flat-screen cable TV and panoramic views of the harbour, mountain, city or park. Free off-street parking is available for guests. Lenna Of Hobart is a fabulous hotel. It is located between Salamanca and Battery Point, giving you easy access to all the main tourist spots, but also local cafes and shops. It is a historic building that has been done up beautifully. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable with comfortable bed and a great shower. A real benefit for us were the guest laundry facilities that allowed us to wash clothes between between hiking/kayaking adventures. The hotel was brilliant at ensuring our bags (which we left in storage as we went hiking/kayaking) were put in our rooms, ready for our return. Overall, a brilliant hotel.

Cradle Mountain Highlanders offers secluded cabins on the edge of Cradle Mountain National Park. It provides convenient, self-catering facilities and is a 5-minute drive from the park’s entrance.

Each of the unique cabins at Cradle Mountain Highlanders has cosy interiors, including a fireplace. All cabins are lined with beautiful Tasmanian timber and most cabins have full kitchen facilities. Some units have a luxurious spa bath and mountain views. It was a special and peaceful retreat in a cabin surrounded by the forest. Both the reception area and the cabins were beautifully designed. The fireplace inside the cabin kept us very warm—so much so that at night, we even left the window slightly open while the fire was still going. It was conveniently close to the Visitor Centre and Devils @ Cradle. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, but I’d recommend bringing enough ingredients if you plan to cook your own meals.
