The stand-out aspect of this hotel for us was the quality of the staff. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful at all points throughout our stay (from having complementary apples in the lobby, to helping with luggage to and from the room/taxi, to also bringing us the amenities we requested directly to our room, to getting us new rental bikes when we discovered a problem with one of them), and were available to help at any hour of the day. They were also able to safely store our luggage for over a day when we took a day trip to Victoria before returning to stay one more night. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice coffee machine (and pods) included. The view from the room was also quite nice, and there were plenty of facilities available (pool, sauna, hot tub) for those wanting to spend more time at the hotel and relax. For the affordable price, the hospitality and slight feeling of luxury provided completely exceeded my expectations.

I planned to Stay in a house or Cabin, not a Complex, but Black Rock beat me. Unbelievable View and You feel full privacy in a huge Complex. We had a trail Studio, with full amenities (full kitchen and kitchenettes ) and it has a great view from the room. super Calm and quiet. Helpfull staff. Never forget our stay , highly recommended.

We loved the breakfast. Since it was reserved, we were able to enjoy a peaceful breakfast and the food on the menu was delicious. We appreciated the snack time and 24h coffee/tea station.

They went above and beyond to help me navigate a difficult medical situation with compassion and care. Their warmth and attentiveness brought comfort during a challenging time, and I’ll always be grateful for that. Thank you for making my stay not just beautiful, but truly meaningful.

Wolfwood Guest Ranch ligt in Clearwater en biedt gratis WiFi en een tuin met een terras en uitzicht op de bergen. The hosts were so nice! Beautiful location, wonderful cabins (although the floors and doors were a bit squeaky), super cozy atmosphere. It's clear the family loves what they do, we loved the breakfast and dinner (served on our porch directly) and really enjoyed talking to Tarn about wildlife, the farm animals and edible plants on the included tour in the morning. Off grid location, but then we were already in Wells Gray to explore, which was great.
