八八古藝民宿可包棟 is a 5-minute drive from Kinmen National Park, while Ever Rich Golden Lake Plaza is a 20-minute drive away. It takes half an hour to drive to the property from Shuitou Pier. Excellent communication, excellent staff understanding and assistance, gorgeous historic facility (Qing dynasty-era courtyard building, fully restored with care), all the basic necessities (shampoo, body soap, house slippers, linens, etc) provided in the room, along with free wifi and a TV in the room. My room was tiny, but for one person seeking to discover a new place, it was perfect. I love how they turned part of the original room into the divided-off washroom (wet room, which was great). Bed was quite firm, akin to a yoga block, but comfortable. Room was very clean, as was the entire facility. A fridge / freezer and electric kettle are available for guest usage in the room where one checks in. The area in which the property is situated in calm, and near enough to walk to some restaurants and supermarkets. I was able to take advantage of their moto-rental service (driving licence + international licence required). Staff are, again, excellent, professional, helpful, kind. Highly recommended.

Xiamen Gulangyu Heitan Hotel is 1.1 km from Huangu Ferry Marina, while Dongdu Wharf is 5 km away. Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport is 12 km from the property. The hotel is situated on a gorgeous island just a short boat ride from Xiamen. We were given a fantastic room that far exceeded our expectations and really made our stay on Guyangyu special. The reception staff took care to meet us from the boat and communicated via WeChat very well, they even recommended an excellent restaurant. We will return.

All rooms offer wide windows that allow much natural light and the fresh ocean breeze in. International Cruise Terminal in Dongdu is a 15-minute drive away. Sea view room had excellent views towards Gulangyu, with information of the monuments you can see, as well as some paper and coloured pencils to draw. The decoration is quirky and fun, making reference to the culture and history of Xiamen. Location is very good, close to Zhongshan Rd and short taxi drive to Nanputuo and Xiamen Uni. The hotel receptionist, Lydia Li (guest service manager), was extremely nice and helpful, aiding us to book a tour to the Nanjing Tulou, and was very attentive as well during our stay.

Just a 10-minute drive from Baicheng Beach, overseeing the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, Gulangyu Island, Swiss Grand Xiamen is located a 10-minute walk from downtown Zhongshan Road and a 5-minute walk from Xiamen Ferry Terminal. It is a 3-minute walk from Zhenhai Road Subway Station. It features an indoor pool and a fitness centre. Spacious rooms come with wired internet. During stay in there, everything was good. Staffs are well trained, professional and helpful. Room view and facilities was really good.

Located near the famous Coffee Street, Marco Polo Xiamen is a 20-minute drive to Xiamen International Airport and also close to the business district. The hotel offers accommodation with sweeping views of the Yuandang Lake and the white egret protection zone. Very good location, good services, brand new hotel with super helpful staffs. The infinite pool located on 22 and 37 are amazing. Highly recommend
