Αυτό το παραθαλάσσιο πανδοχείο βρίσκεται στο Providencia στο νησί Santa Catalina και προσφέρει γραφική θέα στον ωκεανό. Το Fort Warwick απέχει μόλις 5 λεπτά με τα πόδια. Francisca was amazing, she will provide for help since the moment you arrive. The posada is clean, the rooms are spacious, there is enough water and AC. The place is a little “far” from the main beaches but we rent a motorbike and was worth it (15 minutes ride from Manzanillo Beach).

Boasting a sun deck area with direct ocean access, Cabanas Agua Dulce also offers an outdoor swimming pool. Rooms have private balconies with hammocks. Agua Dulce Beach is 500 metres away. The cabanas are lovely, set in a nice garden with even a pool that is useful after a day at the beach. The interior of the cabanas is basic but they are clean, spacious, with fridge and air conditioning and an outdoor space. The staff is friendly and helpful and the included breakfast is good and complete. I had read negative reviews and honestly don't see the point. The beach in front no longer exists because of the hurricane that hit the island a few years ago, the bar/restaurant La Terrazza in front offers sunset views and really good cocktails. Providencia is still an island little exploited by mass tourism, but there is a lot of restaurants , especially on the beach, really nice and good, with delicious fish and lobster. There are sunflies and mosquitos but with a good repellent they are kept away 😉
