Very cute and functional cottage. Loved the fireplace and the fact that I could stock up on more wood. Nice selection of tasty breakfast options. It is close to both Poas NP & La Paz waterfall.

Wendy’s place is incredible, a beautiful house, private and surrounded by nature. The nights were with perfect temperature and you sleep with the sound of nature, something we needed to get accustomed with. But we had the best sleep for 4 nights! We booked the full experience with breakfast and dinners brought dearly by Wendy’s mom, who was a bit like our mom too. If you speak a bit of spanish, this will stay as your favorite memory of the house, like for us. The waterfall of the neighbour’s property is also superb and had it just for us, is bigger than it looks on photos! We also saw some toucans from the balcony and hummingbirds. A little paradise we recommend to everyone.

From the minute we were picked up by the shuttle until we left the following day, it was perfect. Comfortable bed, exceptionally friendly staff, lovely breakfast, beautiful garden. Very welcoming. Such a lovely welcome to Costa Rica after just getting off a plane late at night.

Wonderful location, with views towards Poas Volcano. Tranquil and peaceful location with beautiful gardens, landscape. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. Good choice of breakfast was included in the room rate we had paid.
We ate each night at the lodge and the food was delicious and such a lovely cosy restaurant. The lounge area was beautifully furnished and we loved the little log burners which warmed it. We would certainly stay here again.
