Belcruz family lodge is located in Monteverde Costa Rica, 3.9 km from Sky Adventures Monteverde. Among the various facilities are a garden and a terrace. The property is 5 km from Selvatura Adventure Park. The food was the best I have ever had in a Hotel. The beetroot tortellini had a smoky aftertaste and baked cherry tomatos added to a perfectly balanced dish. The homemade granola in the morning and fresh cut fruit was tasty. Also the owner pointed out Toucans and had a lovely helpful energy that was not intrusive, but made our trip better.

It ended up being off the beaten path just a little which was so nice. Lots of birds near the apartment we stayed in. The family who run it were so helpful and kind. We hope to return again sometime!

Every room has a private bathroom and a private patio where you can relax and spot jungle wildlife, including monkeys and sloths. A seating area, air conditioning, ceiling fans, mini fridge and bed linen are also included. We loved this place! We came for a relaxing break and it was perfect. We were greeted by Teddy at the gate in the pouring rain and he handed us umbrellas. Breakfasts are fabulous. You can spend time lounging by the pool or in the hammock outside your room. You can walk to the beach which is super close and wander along the shore for ages. And it’s peaceful- except when the monkeys come to visit and bounce around on the roof ( but this is a high light). Teddy made reservations for us and helped us with some bookings and Letikka ( our host) provided us with lots of helpful information. We would definitely recommend!
