Sadly we were only spending the night before catching our ferry but it does look like a great place to spend a long day just chilling. Breakfast was superb!

Located around 17 km from Carlisle Railway Station, the bed and breakfast is also 17 km away from Carlisle Castle. The property is non-smoking and is set 42 km from Thirlwall Castle. Our room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our host, Carolyn, was lovely and went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The location of Prince Charlies Cottage was perfect for us and we were able to explore the surrounding area. We would certainly recommend Prince Charlies Cottage to everyone.

It has fully modernised bedroom suites with a wide breakfast choice and a bar selling an extensive selection of whiskies, wines and real ales. Charming village inn with excellent food and genuinely friendly staff. We will be back
