The room was large and beautifully decorated, with a roll top bath in the room - plus a lovely en-suite shower room. The food in the pub downstairs was excellent, and the pub itself was cosy and welcoming. Such a delicious and plentiful breakfast was included in the room price. It was the staff who made our stay though, they were all SO friendly and helpful!

Great little Pub/BnB near Bamburgh and 20 minutes away from Alnwick. We ate dinner here which was truly excellent. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was very nice, and we appreciated the face that it started at 8h30 and was until 10h45!

We had sunday lunch which was really good, just enough room left for dessert which was also lovely. The wine list is a little limited although the wine we had was really nice. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel the following evening which was just as good. The staff are absolutely lovely from front to back, day and night. The hotel has a really warm homely feel to it. The lounge area with the fireplace was really cosy and comfortable, we nearly fell asleep there. The room was very well presented and i have never stayed in a room so clean. The attention to detail is first class.

This was our favorite place that we stayed during our two week vacation in England! The quality is very high. Bed was comfortable, nice heated floors in the bathroom, robes to wear, beautiful view out the window, delicious scone greeting us. The list goes on. Also, breakfast was delicious!

Everything was fine. We were lucky to have a free upgrade from a one bedroom apartment to two bedrooms apartment. The kitchen is well equipped. It's (very) close to the train station and there are a bunch of restaurants as you exit the hotel. You also have the option of leaving your luggage in a locker at the 5th floor for a very small fee.

Very welcoming staff, easy parking, lovely room, super clean. We had a great lunch here, and loved the breakfast and service. The hotel was so close to everything. Thought it might be loud but we both slept like logs. Would definitely recommend and return if possible.
