Just 5 miles from the city centre of Oxford, The Bear and Ragged Staff offers fantastic homemade food, free parking, and free Wi-Fi. Amazing stay! We would definitely go again. It is a bit further from Oxford which we were travelling to but a very calm and great place. The staff were extremely nice and helpful! The room was exceptionally nice and cosy. You could feel the freshness and birds from outside. Amazing toiletries to relax in a bath after a trip. A kettle with a few types of tea, hot chocolate and cookies. Also amazing breakfast that you can have in their restaurant and free fruits for the guests. Highly recommended!

Set in over 2 acres of beautiful gardens, The Chesterton Hotel is an 18th-century manor house offering a relaxing bar. Its bright, modern rooms feature lovely views over the grounds. Very cozy rooms. Beautiful place.

Situated in the heart of rural Oxfordshire, in picturesque Dorchester, The George Hotel, Dorchester-on-Thames, Oxfordshire - The Coaching Inn Group is one of Britain’s oldest coaching inns. This was our favorite place to stay during our Thames Path walk. The rooms are recently and stylishly renovated, and really look good. The ambience of this medieval inn was great. The beds are very comfortable, and the food at breakfast was fantastic. Dinner, with a reduced menu choice, was also good. Staff seemed eager to please.

This renovated Victorian merchant's house, dating from 1889, is situated in Oxford, just 3 km from University of Oxford. Staff were very attentive. Even helped carry our luggage up the stairs. Thanks.

What a beautiful place! We would definitely stay here again! The tents are gorgeous & beautifully supplied, the spot is so lovely with a bus right outside the gates into Oxford in 20 minutes.

We had a fabulous stay and enjoyed exploring the beautiful garden and surrounding village. The walk along the canal was an unexpected highlight and so was Rousham Gardens nearby. We loved the breakfasts. Our room was spacious and more than comfortable.

The Greyhound Inn is set in the downland village of Letcombe Regis, 2 km from the market town of Wantage and 24 km from Oxford. Free private parking and free Wi-Fi is available on site. The Greyhound is a wonderful place with a lot of history and idiosyncracies. The accomodation is to a high standard but I would advise checking out the rooms before you book for size and also for function. Foodwise they have an interesting menu that changes frequently and everything was well cooked and delicious. What truly moves the bar upwards on the Greyhound is the staff - I don't think I have been in a place recently where the staff were as friendly and helpful.
