We attended the casa hotel for a work event, the staff was very friendly, the hotel room was immaculate had everything you needed. Staff was really friendly and the food was amazing! Formerly a 500-year-old inn, this Derbyshire hotel in the heart of the Peak District offers rooms featuring contemporary décor, with a seating area and TV, and en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries. 1. The room was larger than I had expected. (I booked a single room). Although the room faced the street, I had no problems sleeping even with the window open. 2. A good breakfast menu offering a choice of dishes, using high quality ingredients. 3. A beer garden - the possibility to sit outside.

Manchester Museum is 23 km away and Whitworth Art Gallery is 23 km from the inn. Lovely room and big super king bed, very comfy. Very welcoming and helpful waitress on arrival and for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and freshly cooked.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated The White Hart Apartment Church View offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is 3.4 km from Alton Towers. The property features a children's playground and parking on-site. We stayed here as a family whilst visiting Alton Towers. The room was clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing! Would highly recommend a visit and we would definitely stay again.

Gardeners Cottage B&B offers a terrace. We loved that it was only 4 rooms, so it was very exclusive and private. Ivan is a literal fountain of knowledge on all things Peak district. The rooms were clean and quaint, but with modern bathroom amenities. Ivan and Francesca went the extra mile for us on the day of our check-out. We had to leave earlier than expected, before breakfast, and requested a cold sandwich to take with us on our return, but Ivan and Francesca came in the evening before gave us loads of pastries, yoghurt and other snacks to take with us. Didn't have to make a food stop on the way back. The gardens are also very well kept and loads of character. There are birds, badgers (harmless) and a cat on the grounds. We also loved the balcony seating, though it is a bit old. The view from the balcony is breathtaking.

It is possible for guests to sit outside and enjoy the property grounds. Wonderful and well equipped cottage, quiet in the night, very nice and helpful owners! Town in walking distance, many interesting places nearby, one hour to Manchester by train. Perfect!
