Easy to find, near the entrance to Metsovo, on the main street. Easy walk to the center, moderately downhill. Parking in garage under the hotel, with elevator to lobby/rooms. Approach to garage might seem tricky, but apparently easier than most in Metsovo. Welcoming and helpful staff.

Boasting a prime location within the castle walls, this century-old restored mansion features a tranquil courtyard and charming accommodation with views over the castle. An absolute recommendation! We were really impressed by Hotel Kastro. It is located inside the old town, surrounded by the castle walls, peaceful and shielded from traffic noise. The hotel is very well maintained, with a beautiful interior full of details that make it feel warm and welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with an amazing bed and a nice bathroom. The staff were warm and helpful, providing useful information about the city. Breakfast in the garden was a perfect start to the day. From the hotel, you can easily walk to the lake, restaurants, and shops. Overall, a fantastic stay – we will definitely be back.

SAZ City Life Boutique Hotel is located in Ioannina, 500 metres from Gallery of Epirus Studies Society. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and the roof garden. The SAZ City Life Boutique Hotel is excellent. We stayed in one of the suites. It was spacious with a comfortable bed, and a lovely view towards the lake with the surrounding mountains The Roof Garden restaurant had wonderful food and very good value for money The reception girls were very gracious and friendly, and very helpful. Location was fantastic, near the Archaeological Museum, and not far from the Castle and the Lake.The

The room was beautifully done and very clean. The breakfast set us up for the day and all the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and would love to return.
