A kitchenette with cooking facilities and fridge is included in all units at the Paraporti. Each has a safety deposit box and a flat-screen TV. I loved staying at Paraporti Hotel. Firstly, the location is spectacular. Just outside is a town square where you have the most amazing views of the ocean. It's close to shops and restaurants and not far from the Church on the hill which is great to see the sunset. The actual hotel is picturesque - it is exactly what you imagine a hotel in Greece should look like. The inside of the room was simple, but good and had everything I needed. I would definitely recommend for people to stay here.

Located at the entrance of the scenic Folegandros Town, the whitewashed Meltemi features traditional accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Several taverns and bars can be found at the central square, just a few metres away. We stayed for four nights in early May. First of all, Folegandros is an amazing little island. It was the beginning of the season so some places were not open yet, but neither were there tons of tourists so it was peaceful and wonderful. There are a few little markets to pick up groceries, there were several open restaurants. Meltemi was a really great stay. A quintessential complex of white washed buildings with blue doors connected by a maze of stairs. Our room had double doors that opened to a view of the hills, so we opened them every morning and lay in bed looking out at the view, and we sat on the balcony late into the evening. The room was clean and spacious, had a fridge, the beds were comfy. The location was perfect, right in town and a short walk to the switchback trail up to the high point and Church of Paragia. The views from there and from a viewpoint in town are spectacular. For hikers, lots of trails, including a spectacular coastal trail from Angali to Agios Nikolaos beach where we went swimming. Easy to rent a car for the 12 km length of the island but there are buses as well making it unnecessary to need a car for some. Can’t say enough about the island and Meltemi was a great place to stay. Note, if you have a car you park in the parking lot on the outside of town and walk in (not far) to the hotel. A note about the bathroom, we had no issues - the shower does not have a curtain so the floor can get wet, however we were in 15 different places all over Greece and just about all the showers were the same, open with no curtain.

Enjoying panoramic views over the Aegean Sea from its sun terrace, the Cycladic-style Miramare Hotel is located in the scenic Folegandros Town. It features a pool, a poolside snack bar and sea-view rooms with free Wi-Fi access. The view is absolutely spectacular, the best on the whole island. It's a very peaceful place to go on holiday and take the opportunity to disconnect. You open the bedroom door and all you see in front of you is the sea... the sea and... the sea. The room has everything you need to be comfortable. There are numerous restaurants near the hotel, excellent beaches and it's a great island with few people compared to other islands like Santorini or Mikonos. For me, it's the real Greek island that stands out for its simplicity.

Guests are offered free 2-way transfer from Karavostasis Port. The location was perfect, and the view from the room was amazing. When we arrived at the port, they transported us to the hotel in a minibus.

It includes a poolside a la carte restaurant and a bar, a fitness centre and a tennis court. Beautiful design. Terrific food and wonderful staff. An incredible experience.

Vardia Bay Studios are air-conditioned and situated along 3 different levels, allowing for beautiful views, close to the sandy beach. Relax in your comfortable and fully equipped studio and admire the stunning view. Very friendly gentleman at the reception, if I remember correctly, his name was Jorgos. He gave all the information about what to see on the island, which are the beautiful beaches, how the taxi boats work. If you needed anything, he arranged everything. The breakfasts were excellent, but the offer was the same every day. The rooms are very clean, they are also cleaned every day. The location of the hotel is also very good, close to the port and the beach on one and the other side of the hotel. They offered free transportation from the port, although it was a very short walking distance. The view from the room was phenomenal. I have to admit that this island was one of my favorites in the Cyclades, as was this accommodation.
